Wow so I just realized I forgot to upload a short last week.
This film is called “Old Seat” and its about a society where parents have to pay taxes to have their children live a certain number of years. I really liked this short because, even though it made me feel awful, the fact that it drew so much emotion from me shows how well put together it is. It astounds me to think about how people bring their children in the world knowing that they cannot afford them. People do that in real life, which I guess might be the point. I just felt so bad for the little boy because his parets wouldn’t pay for his life to be lengthened. Instead, they were saving up to buy new seats. That is not cool.
